Tickertape supports four asset classes: stocks, ETFs, mutual funds, and indices. Each of these has an Asset Page that dives deep into vital information needed to make informed investment decisions.

1. Stock Pages

When selected carefully, stocks have the potential to generate high returns. But be informed that these can also be risky. So it makes sense to evaluate your desired stocks thoroughly before investing in them. Tickertape’s Stock Pages help you do just that. Our Stock Pages offer vital information about the stock under various tabs such as 'Overview,' 'Forecasts,' 'Financials,' and others so you can make informed investment decisions.

On the left-hand side of the Stock Page is an investment checklist that helps you quickly gauge the stock based on its intrinsic value, returns compared to an FD, and entry point. The checklist also tells if a stock has any red flags regarding inclusion in the ASG/GSM list and the extent of pledged promoters' holdings. On the right-hand side are various tabs, as discussed below.

In the 'Overview' tab, you will find:

·      Live price chart for various timelines like 1D, 1W, 1M, 1Y, and 5Y

·      Sector, market cap, and risk associated with the stock

·      Key metrics such as PE ratio, PB ratio, and dividend yield in addition to sector PE ratio, sector PB ratio, and sector dividend yield that help easy comparison the stock with the industry it belongs to

·      A quick peers comparison and financial and holdings trend

·      A quick overview of the recent news and events, such as corporate actions of the stock

Simply put, the overview tab encompasses the details in the other tabs but in a concise manner. Now, let’s take a detailed look at all the other tabs of a Stock Page.

In the 'Forecasts' tab, you can see the analysts’ ratings—the number of analysts that suggest you can buy the stocks. In this case, 85% of 40 analysts recommend buying UltraTech. In addition, the tab also has a 'Price Forecast,' 'Revenue Forecast,' and 'Earnings Per Share' Forecast of the stock. However, this information is available for Tickertape Pro users only. Read *Getting Started with Tickertape Pro* to learn more.

The 'Financials' tab of a Stock Page contains the company's financial statements—Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cashflow Statement—for 4 yrs. You can view these on the go or download them for further reference. Again, you must be a Pro member to take the financials offline.

What’s more, you can see both Quarterly and Annual views of the financials in 3 modes:

·      Normal

·      Growth

·      Margin

The annual view of the financials also allows you to compare key metrics and ratios such as the stock's market share, current ratio, and debt to equity ratio compared to that of the sector as a whole.

When you evaluate the company’s financials, you can compare the stock with the competitors in the 'Peers' tab. The parameters available for comparison are Valuation ratios, Technical indicators, and Forecasts. If you want to compare the stock price with those of its competitors or any others, you can do so in the Price Comparison section. You can also customize the timeline of the comparison.

Next up is the 'Holdings' tab that gives insights into promoters and institutional holdings trends. Besides, you can also gauge the stock based on its Shareholding Pattern and History for various quarters. This information is vital to understanding promoters’ and key institutions’ interest in the stock and a change in their holdings.

Then you have the 'News' tab that throws up all the recent developments that have happened in the country or the economy that impact the stock.

Finally, you can keep track of the stock’s dividends, corporate actions, legal orders, and other announcements in the 'Events' section. This section also displays the stock's dividend trend and dividend yield.

2. Mutual Funds Pages

One of the best ways to diversify your portfolio is by investing in mutual funds. These invest in multiple stocks in line with an investment objective and help you diversify risk and optimize returns. But like all other asset classes, selecting the right mutual fund for your portfolio requires thorough analysis. Tickertape’s Mutual Funds Pages help you do exactly the same. Here's a video exploring the DSP Healthcare Fund Page.

You can also read how to use a Mutual Fund Page below.

As with other Asset Pages, Mutual Funds Pages also have an investment checklist on the left-hand side. On the 'Overview' tab, you can access vital information such as:

·      Price chart over various timelines, including 1M, 6M, 1Y, 5Y, and so on

·      AMC profile and the mutual fund scheme

·      Underlying asset class of the fund

·      Assets Under Management

·      Level of risk

·      Key metrics such as expense ratio, alpha and beta values, tracking error, Sharpe ratio, and yield to maturity of the fund.

In addition to this, you can also see information about the peers of the scheme along with their key metrics, which allows a quick comparison. To do a detailed analysis of a particular peer, simply click on that scheme.

What makes Tickertape’s Mutual Funds Pages stand out is its 'Tax Calculator. You may know that returns generated by a Mutual Fund attract short-term capital gains tax or long-term capital gains tax, as is the case. Ergo, it makes sense to understand the tax implication of a particular fund before investing in the scheme.

Not only does the Tax Calculator show the tax incidence for less than and over a year, but it also helps you ascertain the expected post-tax returns of the fund. Simply select the investment frequency and key in or switch the toggle against monthly contribution, expected CAGR of the fund, investment horizon, and your estimated annual income. That’s it; you will get the results in no time.

Like other Asset Pages, our Mutual Funds Pages have a 'Peers' tab that allows you to compare your desired fund with up to 3 of its peers in terms of returns, scheme, and ratios. Besides, you can also compare the fund's price with a peer or any other asset for your desired timeline.

Finally, the 'Portfolio' tab displays details such as the fund's quarterly targeted and actual asset allocation, quarterly sector distribution, and sector weightage for various timelines. Further down, the Current Holdings section lists the constituent stocks, holding weightage, and 3M change.

3. Index Pages

Indices are excellent tools to measure the overall market, sector, or stock performance. They can also be used as benchmarks to compare your favorite stocks' performance against the overall market or a specific sector. Here's a video that will take you through Nifty Index

Tickertape’s Index Pages are filled with a ton of useful information categorized under various tabs that can help you make informed investment decisions. The ‘Overview’ tab displays:

·      Price chart for various periods, including 1D, 1W, 1M, 1Y, 5Y, and Max

·      The level of risk

·      Sectoral details

·      Key metrics such as PE ratio and the dividend yield

·      ETFs benchmarked against the index

The ‘Constituents’ tab displays all the stocks that are part of the index. What’s special about this tab is that it shows the ‘Return attribution’ column against each stock, which gives insights into the extent of influence each stock has on the change in the index value. What’s more, Tickertape also lets you download this information for further analysis. This is only available for Pro users.

Finally, the ‘ETF’ tab displays all the Exchange-Traded Funds benchmarked against the index. Further, the ‘News and Corporate Actions’ tab provides information on the constituent stocks' latest news and corporate actions.

4. ETF Pages

Known as exchange-traded funds, ETFs are mostly designed to match a stock market index's constituents closely. Therefore, these funds' returns should ideally match the indexes. Such funds are called passive ETFs. On the other hand, ETFs that don’t track an index are called actively-managed ETFs.

Tickertape’s ETF Pages are designed to provide you with all the vital information you need to make an informed decision in a decluttered way. Let’s explore the 'Kotak Nifty 50 ETF' Index Page.

Below is a brief on Tickertape's ETF Pages
